A one-time fundraiser that pulled in more than $20,000 for Pacific Palisades fire recovery is now a standing date on the calendar.
Palisades Night launches as a monthly series at The Bungalow Santa Monica on Thursday, Aug. 6, with doors opening at 5 p.m. The free event will repeat on the first Thursday of every month, according to the Santa Monica Mirror.
No tickets are required.
The Aug. 6 edition features DJ Graham Funke, a Pacific Palisades native, along with drink specials inspired by local staples and merchandise sales benefiting LA Strong Sports. That nonprofit, co-founded by the Jackson, Redick and Kilgore families after the January 2025 Palisades Fire, is working with Steadfast LA and the City of Los Angeles to fund, redesign and rebuild the Pacific Palisades Park and Recreation Center.
An earlier Palisades Night at the same venue raised $20,369 for LA Strong Sports and the rec center rebuild, according to LA Strong Sports. The strong turnout prompted the decision to go monthly, keeping the community connected during what the Santa Monica Mirror described as a long recovery process.
The Bungalow, located at 101 Wilshire Blvd. inside the Fairmont Miramar Hotel on Ocean Avenue, has formally adopted the series with a dedicated page on its website. The venue is open Thursday through Saturday, 5 p.m. to 1 a.m.
Time Out Los Angeles described the series as a gathering that blends nightlife with local impact, running from golden hour into the late evening.
The next Palisades Night after the Aug. 6 kickoff falls on Sept. 3.
