The heated pool at the Annenberg Community Beach House is open to adults Friday, July 24, for three hours of swimming, free s'mores, and sunset views over the Pacific.

The Sunset Swim runs from 6 to 9 p.m. at 415 Pacific Coast Highway. Admission is $10 for adults ages 18 to 59 and $5 for seniors 60 and older. Holders of a pool pass of the day get half off, according to the city's event listing.

Passes are available at the door, subject to availability. Anyone who pre-purchased online must pick up their pass by 6:30 p.m. If the pool hits capacity, staff will add guests to a waitlist and notify them when space opens.

The city-operated facility provides complimentary pool floaties for the evening. Outside food is welcome. No glass containers or alcohol are permitted.

On-site parking costs $15 per day or $4 per hour, payable by credit card or exact change at the lot's pay stations. Disabled person placards and City of Santa Monica Senior Beach Permits are accepted.

Friday's event is part of a recurring summer series at the Beach House. Two more Sunset Swims are scheduled for Friday, August 7, and Friday, August 21, same time and pricing.

Residents can find full details and pre-purchase passes through the City of Santa Monica events page at santamonica.gov.
